Love is a many strangled thing

In this week's episode, Love is a many strangled thing, the episode starts with Mr. Burns riding a hot air balloon with Mr. Smithers. Carl, Lenny, and Homer decide that they want to try and shoot down the balloon where Homer succeeds in hitting it down after multiple attempts. Mr. Burn misinterpreted Homer's act of foolishness as an act of kindness and rewards him with tickets to a football game. At the game, Homer tickles Bart on the jumbo tron and Bart pees himself. After being humiliated in front of everyone, Bart gets upset and Homer is later scolded by Marge. Marge tells Homer he need to be a better father and she enrolls him in a parenting class. Homer tells the class about how he sometimes strangles Bart where the Doctor is shocked to hear this. Soon after, Homer is given a private session with Kareem Abdul Jabar who shows Homer how it feels like to be strangled by someone bigger then him. After experiencing how it feels, Homer promises never to strangle Bart again. Bart discovers that Homer will not beat him anymore so Bart takes advantage of this and misbehaves more. Marge decides to step in and tries to get Bart help from the doctor. She finds him under a bridge, homeless, but still desires that he helps her family. Homer and Bart go through a series of exercises where the doctor eventually strangles Bart. Due to this, Homer and Bart bonded over the whole incident and got closer. This episode stressed the importance of familial relationships and how a family should grow together to love and respect each other. Without that respect, a family may fall apart.
