The full monty

In this episode, the full Monty, the episode begins with a meeting of representatives that tried to make up a fake disease in order to cause panic for Springfield. They offer people a limited supply of vaccine which Mr. Burns steals for himself while running over the rest of the other available vaccines. After Mr. Burns steals the vaccines, he soon learns that he only has 6 weeks to live due to a various amount of illnesses. After being distraught by the towns lack of sympathy, Mr. Burns attempts to commit suicide by jumping off a cliff. He somehow manages to survive the jump with some amnesia. Bart soon finds Mr. Burns in the wilderness and hides him in the Simpson residence. When Homer, Marge, and the rest of Springfield discover Mr. Burns' whereabouts, they all decide to get revenge on how he treated them over the years.  When Lisa takes Mr. Burns back to his mansion, he turns into his old, mean self and decides to put a dome over the town to get revenge over those who treated him poorly. In the end of the episode, Mr. Burns is escorted by Mr. Smithers in one of his helicopters. Viewers learn that Smithers initially thought that Mr. Burns was dead so he spent the time working for Dick Cheney. This episode ultimately showed how the media is able to control society by scaring them. The episode also shows how valuable it is to be nice to others. Usually, hate follows hate and when others are treated poorly, they think it's acceptable to treat others poorly as well - it's a vicious circle as they say.
